people lined up to vote

As people with disabilities, we’re one of the largest minority populations. 1 in 5 people have a disability. Yet, unfortunately, only half of us are voting. I’m not going to get into whether it is our right half or left half or red vs. blue half! It doesn’t matter because it is still one half not voting.

People with disabilities can often get discouraged by barriers that make it very difficult to vote, such as inaccessible poling sites, lack of transportation etc. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Here at the #IWantToWork Campaign, we want to make sure all people with disabilities have a voice in the election!
